Work

Before graduating with my bachelor's degree, my goal was to pursue a master's degree, so I didn't look for a formal job.

After graduating with my master's degree, I was very conflicted about what kind of job to look for. I had a few options. The first was to pursue a PhD in the United States. I've always wanted to study in the most developed country in the world, even just to see it for myself. However, based on my experience during my master's degree, I only wanted to go to the US to observe, not to pursue a PhD. Secondly, I also wanted to take the civil service exam and serve the people. If I graduated with a PhD, I could quickly rise to the level of deputy county head through a selection process, which was quite attractive. The second option was to work for an internet company. I had previously interned at Didi, and my idol, Kai-Fu Lee, is also an internet mogul. The internet offers freedom, high income, and the ability to directly create value, which I greatly admire.

SelfReflection

sUndoubtedly, it was through education that I had the opportunity to leave my rural hometown and come to Beijing to study and work. Throughout my studies, I was always an excellent student, and this status made me always want to be the best version of myself. However, after starting work, I found that I wasn't working as hard as before. I don't want to make excuses for myself anymore; I still hope to find a way to exert my strength in the future and become someone who can influence the world.
